Description
True North 400, the North Fulton Community Improvement District, is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from qualified engineering firms for feasibility analysis and concept development services for the Transit Trust Fund–Holcomb Bridge Project in Roswell, Georgia. The project will improve pedestrian and bicycle access to a planned express-lane transit station, including multimodal improvements along Holcomb Bridge Road and connections between the station, a MARTA park-and-ride facility, and development opportunities on both sides of SR 400. The anticipated services include evaluating conceptual alternatives; developing roadway, pedestrian, bicycle, bridge, streetscape, vertical-circulation, utility, environmental, and aesthetic concepts; preparing concept plans, profiles, typical sections, planning-level construction cost estimates, right-of-way and utility impact assessments, approximately 30% plans for preferred alternatives, 3D renderings, stakeholder and agency coordination materials, and responses to review comments. The prime consultant must hold specified GDOT prequalifications for urban roadway design and bicycle and pedestrian facilities, while the team must collectively satisfy numerous additional GDOT area-class requirements. Phase I requires a Statement of Qualifications with administrative information, notarized certification and immigration affidavits, project-manager and key-team-leader qualifications, prime experience, area-class documentation, resource and workload information, and required commitment tables. Shortlisted firms may later be asked to submit a Phase II technical approach.
