Description
The U.S. Navy requires commercial relocation, handling, trucking, loading, unloading, staging, and placement services for government-owned office furniture, shop workspaces, warehouse materials, machinery, tooling, and specialized industrial equipment. The work includes two defined moves and an on-demand contingency pool of up to 40 standard 26-foot truckloads, or 1,040 linear feet, within a 40-mile roadway radius of the originating shipyard facilities. The contractor must provide personnel, trucks, forklifts and other material-handling equipment, lift gates, portable ramps, packing supplies, securing materials, supervision, and debris removal. Responsibilities include disassembly and reassembly where required, weather protection, industrial pallet-rack placement, and preparation of move plans and post-move reports. Hazardous materials and oversized or over-dimensional loads are excluded. All personnel entering the controlled industrial area must be U.S. citizens and comply with base-access and security requirements. The contract is firm-fixed-price with a period of performance from December 1, 2026, through November 30, 2027. Offerors must submit pricing for all three contract line items, an official quote and company information, their minimum guaranteed-resource notification window, vehicle and equipment capabilities, pricing substantiation, and a written acceptance of the solicitation and performance-work-statement terms. Award will use price and technical acceptability, with the requirement reserved as a total small-business set-aside.
