Description
Lucas County is soliciting bids for construction of a security fence system at its Emergency Medical Services Building. The work includes approximately 72-inch aluminum security fencing with masonry columns, concrete footings, pedestrian gates, non-motorized vehicle swing gates, and a motorized cantilever sliding gate with security mesh and anti-climb features. The scope also includes gate operators, access-control hardware and software, RFID card readers, a long-range vehicle RFID reader, call box/intercom, Knox gate switch, pressure-pad and photo-eye exit controls, electrical conduit and wiring, and a 4K video-surveillance camera at the main gate. Bidders must attend the mandatory pre-bid conference, submit the required notarized affidavits and pricing response, and provide the required bid guaranty. The project has a 150-calendar-day completion period after the Notice to Proceed, includes a $70,000 owner's contingency allowance, and may require a Project Labor Agreement for projects exceeding $100,000.
