Description
The Ohio Department of Transportation District 2 is soliciting bids for the design and manufacture of replacement deck-drainage scupper grates for the Veteran's Glass City Skyway bridge. The scope includes shop drawings for agency approval before manufacturing, a scupper grate mold intended for the initial production and possible future orders, and 100 scupper grates with necessary hardware. After field testing, the agency may order up to 100 additional grates. The grate design must meet the specifications in the VGCS Replacement Scupper Grates document. Award will be made to the lowest bidder meeting all defined specifications. The solicitation is an MBE set-aside requiring an active MBE certification when the solicitation closes.
