Description
The City of Toledo's Division of Urban Beautification is seeking one or more adequately sized disposal sites for demolition debris generated through its public nuisance abatement program. The city estimates approximately 16,000 tons annually, with each demolition averaging about 80 tons. The selected proposer must provide reasonable access for city single-, tandem-, packer-, and semi-trucks; accept debris during specified operating hours; provide alternate sites if a site becomes unsuitable or inaccessible; and provide signed dumping slips showing the date, time, vehicle identification, and weight on a weekly basis. The proposer is responsible for obtaining and maintaining all required EPA permits, an EPA CDD License, and other applicable permits, licenses, and approvals. Pricing must be stated per ton, including all fees, and proposals must include a cover page, firm information and qualifications, a detailed site specifications sheet with maps, addresses, operating hours, dimensions, acreage, annual tonnage limits, and an EPA CDD License. The contract is for one year with up to three one-year renewals. Bidders must submit the required project paperwork, signed contract, bid guaranty, and applicable city and annual paperwork through the electronic bid portal.
