Description
Lucas County is soliciting electronic bids from prequalified contractors for the two-stage restoration of Wicks Ditch, also identified as Lucas County Ditch No. 19. The work includes furnishing all labor, materials, tools, and machinery in accordance with the plans, specifications, Lucas County provisions, and applicable Ohio Department of Transportation construction and material specifications. The project is subject to Ohio prevailing-wage requirements. Bidders must submit a bid guaranty or contract bond equal to 100% of the bid, or an eligible certified/cashier's check or letter of credit of at least 10% of the bid. The prime contractor must perform at least 30% of the original contract price. The low bidder may be required to submit financial and experience information before award, and the project requires electronic bid submission, contractor prequalification, and a compliance affidavit. The stated completion date is March 31, 2027.
