Description
Metroparks Toledo is seeking a qualified contractor to provide 24 months of preventative maintenance and repair services for the glycol refrigeration system serving The Ribbon at Glass City Riverwalk. The scope includes pre-season start-up and commissioning, two in-season maintenance visits, seasonal shutdown and winterization, inspections and testing of compressors, pumps, condensers, glycol systems, controls, electrical components, safety devices, and related equipment, along with written reports, checklists, equipment inventories, deficiency lists, and annual recommendations. The contractor must also provide quarterly ammonia detection, alarm, interlock, and emergency-ventilation system testing and calibration, plus non-emergency and emergency service 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. Emergency technicians must respond onsite within four hours, and non-emergency technicians within 48 hours. Proposals are limited to a 10-page PDF, must include a transmittal letter, personnel qualifications, company experience and three comparable references, an operational plan with sample checklists, and the completed pricing form. The contractor must provide licensed and qualified technicians, comply with applicable safety and refrigerant regulations, and maintain specified liability insurance.
