LEGAL NOTICE NOTICE TO BIDDERS YATES COUNTY AIR HANDLER #12 REPLACMENT PROJECT AT YATES COUNTY BUILDINGS YATES COUNTY PENN YAN, NEW YORK Sealed proposals for the replacement of Yates County Air Handler #12 in County Office Building Replace- ment Project will be received at the Yates County Highway Of- fice, Attention Joe Reed, located at 939 State Route 14A Penn Yan, New York 14527 until 10:00 AM, local time, on October 26, 2026 and there, at said of- fice, at said time, opened and read aloud. This project generally consists of installation of a pack- aged roof top air handler to replace an air handle and all ne- cessary work to com- plete the project. Bid- ders are advised that this contract will re- quire the contractor and subcontractors to pay prevailing wage rates as a min- imum in accordance with the current State Wage Rate Sched- ules. The Contract Documents (consist- ing of the Advertise- ment, the Proposal, the Contract Form and the Specifica- tions) may be ob- tained by contacting at Joe Reed joe.reed@yatescount yny.gov or visiting the Yates County Web site under Do- ing Business then go to Bid Postings and Results. Each pro- posal must be ac- companied by a cer- tified check or bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total maxim- um proposal price (combination of base bid or alternate bid plus add-on items) for the contract in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Con- tract Documents.
