Description
Coweta County School System is soliciting sealed proposals from General Contractors for the construction of a kitchen reroof at Willis Road Elementary School, located at 430 Willis Road, Sharpsburg, GA 30277. A mandatory pre-proposal meeting will be held on June 30, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Willis Road Elementary School. Bids will not be accepted from contractors who do not attend this meeting. Proposals must include a completed Competitive Sealed Proposal Form, a signed Bid Form, a Bid Bond in the amount of five percent of the base bid, the "Contractor Affidavit and Agreement" demonstrating compliance with Georgia law regarding lawful presence and immigration, and affidavits demonstrating compliance with the Verification of Lawful Presence Within the United States through the SAVE program. Performance and payment bonds in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract sum will be required prior to commencement of construction. All bonds must be written by a surety licensed to conduct business in Georgia, listed on the Federal Register, and acceptable to the Owner. Proposals are due by 2:00 P.M. on July 8, 2026.
