Description
Omnitrans is seeking electronic quotes for miscellaneous transit bus parts on an as-needed basis, with no guaranteed usage or award. Categories include automotive, engine, drivetrain, braking, suspension, steering, electrical, lighting, HVAC, air-compressor, fuel-system, filtration, seating, wheelchair-lift, fare-collection, and other bus components and accessories. Bidders must provide unit pricing and lead times, identify any core charges, and submit prices inclusive of all costs except sales tax, core charges, and shipping or freight. Quotes must remain valid for 30 days. Omnitrans may split the award among the lowest responsive and responsible bidders with available inventory. Parts must include genuine new manufacturer or supplier pass-through warranties. Any resulting purchase order will include Omnitrans' standard purchase-order terms and conditions, and awarded vendors must confirm receipt within 24 hours. The procurement is funded by the U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Transit Administration and includes applicable federal transit, Buy America, DBE, and other regulatory requirements. Brand-name or approved-equal requests will not be accepted during the solicitation unless the items have been pre-approved through Omnitrans' Technical Services Department.
