Description
Hillsborough County seeks multiple qualified contractors to provide scheduled and as-needed maintenance, diagnostics, corrective repairs, warranty services, and OEM parts supply for the County’s Ford fleet, including cars, light- and heavy-duty trucks, vans, SUVs, and specialty vehicles. Services include engine, transmission, drivetrain, electrical, brake, HVAC, steering, suspension, recall, inspection, and testing work, along with the supply and installation of genuine Ford OEM parts or County-approved equivalents. Contractors must be authorized Ford service providers or dealers and certified to perform the required diagnostics, repairs, warranty services, and parts replacement. The resulting contracts will use hourly labor pricing and a percentage discount from manufacturer MSRP or catalog pricing. Multiple awards may be made, with an aggregate award limit of $4,300,000 including a $120,060 allowance for shop supplies, fuel surcharges, environmental fees, and miscellaneous fees. The contract period is three years, with no guaranteed minimum purchase. Bids must include the required electronic questionnaires and bid tables, manufacturer catalog or price-list information, Ford authorization and certification documentation, and any other required offer materials. The contractor must perform work in-house unless the County provides prior written approval for subcontracting, maintain vehicle security while vehicles are on the contractor’s premises, and meet specified emergency response, warranty, insurance, and quality-control requirements.
