Description
The City of Tempe is seeking qualified firms to establish multiple, potentially nonexclusive contracts for vehicle and equipment parts and repair services across five categories: hydraulic hoses and fittings; tire road service; vehicle and equipment parts and service; specialized equipment and portable tool service; and other parts or services. The work will support approximately 1,200 passenger vehicles, light- and heavy-duty trucks, street sweepers, refuse trucks, specialty equipment, motorcycles, and other municipal equipment. Services include parts supply, repair, tire roadside service, pickup and delivery, daily delivery to City facilities, pricing discounts, warranty support, and related labor. The City requires local inventory and maintenance capability in the Tempe/Phoenix metropolitan area and may make multiple awards. Proposals must include completed pricing, questionnaire, vendor offer, sustainability, anti-discrimination, and House Bill 2488 materials as applicable. The contract is an indefinite-quantity term contract beginning at award for two years, with possible 90-day extension and additional renewals of up to three years. Insurance is required before contract performance, including commercial general liability, workers' compensation and employer's liability, and automobile liability coverage.
