Description
The contractor will decommission assets at Ward Lake, Lakeview, and Beaver Lake campgrounds within the Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre, and Gunnison National Forests. Work includes mobilization; pumping and removing a toilet building and sewer tank at Ward Lake; properly abandoning water wells at Lakeview and Beaver Lake in accordance with Colorado regulations; removing a concrete well slab and concrete water tank at Beaver Lake; disposing of debris at an approved state or county landfill; and regrading disturbed areas. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, and oversight; coordinate safe electrical disconnections; provide a demolition schedule; supply information needed for well-abandonment reporting; and submit key personnel names and qualifications. The acquisition is a firm-fixed-price commercial construction requirement with one anticipated award and a performance period from October 15, 2026, through June 15, 2027. Quotes must include a technical approach and completed pricing schedule, with the technical narrative limited to three pages excluding the schedule.
