Description
The Colorado Department of Corrections is seeking quotes for fresh brown or white, U.S. Grade A medium or large loose-pack eggs in 15- or 30-dozen cases. Eggs must be USDA-inspected, stamped and dated no more than 17 days before delivery, delivered at no more than 45 degrees Fahrenheit, properly labeled for identity and origin, and supplied in the awarded brand without substitutions. The quoted pricing must include delivery, shipping, surcharges, and taxes, and remain firm during the Purchase Order term. The order is expected to be delivered during the week of September 28 through October 2, 2026, to Arkansas Valley Correctional Facility, Buena Vista Correctional Complex, Central Warehouse, and Sterling Correctional Facility. The bidder must complete and submit Exhibits A through G, including the statement of work and bidder response, required vendor information, W-9, price quote, outside-U.S./Colorado performance disclosure, non-conflict certification, and consent-to-search authorization. Product brand and nutritional information must be included if not previously approved; samples may be requested. The award is expected to be made through a Purchase Order, with price as the primary consideration and sample quality, delivery lead time, and past performance also potentially considered.
