The U.S. Geological Survey’s National Water Quality Laboratory seeks a contractor to replace its aging wastewater supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) computerized control system and software. The requirement includes all labor, software, programming, configuration, installation, testing, commissioning, acceptance verification, documentation, and operator training. The replacement system must use Ignition Perspective HMI software, or an equivalent, and convert existing Genesis32 monitoring screens while preserving logic, alarms, parameter settings, and functionality. It must integrate with existing Allen-Bradley PLCs, sensors, controllers, and treatment-system components; measure, display, and record wastewater parameters; provide equivalent alarm notifications; automatically log discharge data for compliance records; and minimize operational downtime during installation and cutover.
