Description
The Colorado Department of Corrections is seeking quotes for fresh produce to supply correctional-facility kitchens. Vendors must provide itemized unit and extended pricing for the products listed in Exhibit D, including vegetables, fruit, salad mix, lettuce, onions, potatoes, yams, and related produce. Products must be properly labeled with identity and origin, date coded, compliant with applicable United States Department of Agriculture grade standards, and delivered in appropriate transport containers. Substitutions or alternative products are not accepted unless they meet the stated equal-specification and approval requirements. Pricing must remain firm for the purchase-order term and include delivery, shipping, surcharges, and taxes. Deliveries are scheduled to seven Colorado Department of Corrections locations between September 28 and September 30, 2026, with specified facility deadlines. The response must include the completed Exhibits A through G, including the bidder response, vendor information, W-9, price quote, outside-of-Colorado disclosure, non-conflict certification, and consent-to-search authorization. Product brands and nutritional specifications must be submitted for approval when not previously approved; samples may be requested at the vendor's expense.
