Description
The California Highway Patrol is soliciting bids for weekly rental and servicing of protective clothing and operational supplies for its Oakhurst Area Office. The scope includes shop jackets, short- and long-sleeve uniform shirts, trousers, denim jeans, long-sleeve coveralls, slip-resistant mats in multiple sizes, automotive shop rags, and glass-cleaning shop towels. The contractor must provide initial sizing and fitting, uniform alterations and CHP identification markings, containers for soiled items, weekly pickup and delivery, cleaning and sanitization, inspection, repairs, replacement of worn items, manifests, and quarterly inventories. The resulting agreement is anticipated to run from May 1, 2027, through May 31, 2030, subject to approval and possible extension. Bids will be awarded to the responsive and responsible bidder offering the lowest evaluated cost. The solicitation requires an original sealed bid package with the completed bid form and applicable attachments, certifications, references, business documentation, and licenses or certifications. DVBE participation is waived, but eligible DVBE participation may receive an incentive.
