Description
The Pennsylvania Department of Military and Veterans' Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide complete laundry management services for the Northeast Counterdrug Training Center. The scope includes furnishing off-site laundry facilities, machines, dryers, supplies, labor, supervision, transportation, and equipment; laundering, folding, sorting, and returning dormitory linens; and weekly pickup and delivery services. The contractor must provide on-site laundry services Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with linen pickup and delivery every Tuesday and Friday. Requirements include a full-time on-site supervisor, employee uniforms and identification badges, background checks and installation-access compliance, quality-control and pickup/delivery control plans, pest-inspection reporting, and at least five years of personal laundry-services experience. Subcontracting is prohibited. The contract is planned as a one-year term with four one-year renewal options, plus a possible extension of up to 90 days.
