Description
San Felipe-Del Rio Consolidated Independent School District is seeking a single vendor holding an eligible cooperative purchasing contract to provide food-service linen services for district cafeterias. The scope includes white 18-by-18-inch dish towels and black bib aprons, with recurring delivery, exchange, laundering, laundry bags, racks, and additional service calls as needed. Pricing must be all-inclusive, and quantities are estimates that may increase, decrease, or be eliminated. Service is required at 12 listed district campuses during the normal school year, generally on weekdays between 7:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.; summer service may be required for campuses operating summer school or feeding programs. Products must be clean and free of odor, stains, and tears. The district will evaluate cost, ability to meet specifications, scheduling and service approval, and past history with the district. Proof of general liability, automobile liability, and workers’ compensation insurance is required before award, with stated limits of $1,000,000 per occurrence for general liability, $500,000 for automobile liability, and statutory workers’ compensation limits.
