Description
The California High-Speed Rail Authority seeks a contractor to conduct a comprehensive on-site inspection of its Fresno office, covering major building systems such as plumbing, drainage, electrical, roofing, security, the building envelope, HVAC, life-safety, and visible structural components. The contractor must assess condition, functionality, safety, code compliance, and risks, and provide repair recommendations with rough-order-of-magnitude cost estimates. Deliverables include a detailed report with photographs, descriptions of deficiencies, prioritized corrective actions, cost estimates, and a summary of critical findings. The contractor must provide draft and final reports, respond to clarification requests, and participate in one formal review meeting. Bidders must hold a valid California Class A or Class B contractor license. The agreement term is November 1, 2026, or upon contract approval, whichever is later, through January 31, 2027.
