Description
This Request for Information seeks industry input from qualified providers capable of operating secure juvenile detention services for male and female juvenile offenders within the contiguous 48 states, excluding Alaska and Hawaii. The anticipated requirement would be a single IDIQ contract under which the successful offeror provides all services, with an anticipated guaranteed minimum and estimated maximum placement capacity of either 9 to 15 beds or 6 to 10 beds, depending on the final acquisition approach. The anticipated contract structure is one one-year base period plus four one-year option periods. Responders are asked to describe their experience operating secure juvenile facilities; identify applicable state and local restrictions, zoning, environmental, legal, and community concerns; address the ability to house male and female juveniles; and discuss availability of medical, dental, mental-health, psychiatric, educational, vocational, evaluation, cultural, living-skills, and age-specific programming. This is an RFI for planning purposes only and is not a request for proposals or an offer for award.
