Description
The New York City Department of Environmental Protection seeks bids for construction and installation of green infrastructure along the North and South Conduit. The work is intended to capture and manage stormwater runoff and includes items such as rain gardens, permeable pavement, drainage structures and piping, excavation, seeding, curbs, and related site and traffic-protection work. The bid package includes drawings and specifications, and bidders must price the listed work items in PASSPort. Bidders must meet minimum qualifications, including experience on at least three substantially completed projects within the last 10 years and at least three years of experience performing similar work. The bid requires electronic submission through PASSPort and bid security; the notice allows a bid bond with the electronic bid or a certified check delivered separately. The bidder must also complete the apprenticeship questionnaire and required bid certifications. The bid booklet states that the apparent low bidder may need to submit an employment report after bid opening, and that performance and payment security and insurance documentation are required after award or before work begins, as applicable.
