Description
This competitive sealed bid is for construction of CSO facilities for the Gowanus Canal. The work includes construction of the CSO facility superstructure, reconstruction or abandonment of impacted conveyance, installation of facility components and conveyance systems, new force mains, mechanical equipment, electrical conduits and equipment, HVAC components, architectural features, plumbing, a Con Edison network protection structure, a property-line manhole, and duct banks. The project also includes public amenities above the below-ground tank portions and construction water treatment, excavation and soil-management activities, testing, and post-testing facility operations. Bidders must submit the electronic bid through PASSPort and provide required bid security. The bid package includes bid forms, minimum-qualification evidence, a manufacturers list, subcontractor identification, a bid bond form when applicable, and certifications associated with federal and state revolving-fund requirements, including disadvantaged-business participation, domestic-content requirements, and lobbying. The bidder must demonstrate at least three substantially completed similar projects within the last 10 years and at least three years of similar experience.
