Description
The City seeks bids for a comprehensive reconstruction of the Paerdegat Pumping Station. Work includes replacing pumps; installing wet-well elevation monitoring; upgrading mechanical, HVAC, electrical, instrumentation and control systems; adding resiliency improvements, a permanent emergency generator and fuel storage; and replacing the crane electrification system. Structural and site work includes rehabilitating the wet well, rebuilding floors, walls, and ceilings, replacing roofing, facade elements, windows, plumbing fixtures, and the existing force main, and installing a parallel force main. The scope also includes extending the spillway, replacing gate-wall thimbles and a wood gate, constructing two influent chambers for an emergency bypass system, installing remote-monitoring cameras, and related improvements. The bid package includes a bid bond form and bidder forms for minimum qualifications, subcontractor identification, and equipment and material manufacturers. Bidders must submit electronically through PASSPort and provide bid security as required.
