Description
The State seeks quotes for new bucket trucks, with one statewide contract award per cab-and-chassis make and model. Each unit includes a minimum 19,500-pound GVWR crew-cab, dual-rear-wheel, four-wheel-drive chassis; a service body; a rear-stowing insulated aerial lift with a bucket and minimum 45-foot working height; a hydraulic generator; and an inverter. The solicitation specifies detailed vehicle, body, lift, electrical, safety, and accessory requirements. Equivalent products may be offered, but the bidder must be a franchised or authorized factory representative and the equipment must be new and in current production. Bidders must price all required price lines, submit the state-provided price sheet and signed specification conformance form, and provide the bidder data sheet and required procurement forms. The contract also includes optional pricing for manufacturer options, additional manuals, and operator and mechanic training. The base contract term is three years, with possible extensions of up to three additional years.
