Description
This Sources Sought notice is market research for firms capable of modernizing the elevator at Building B663. The work would include replacing its mechanical, control, and hydraulic components with non-proprietary, open-architecture equipment; installing specified elevator components and ADA-compliant controls and communications; and conducting operational and load testing and certification. Elevator work must be performed by a Texas-licensed elevator contractor and comply with the cited accessibility, elevator-safety, and state requirements. The anticipated scope also includes soil borings and laboratory testing for hydraulic-fluid contamination, analytical reporting, and regulatory support under the Texas Risk Reduction Program. Depending on findings, work may include preparing a Remedial Action Plan and performing excavation, disposal of contaminated material, and clean backfill. Interested firms are asked to submit a capability statement covering corporate information, licensing, relevant elevator and environmental experience, military-installation experience, socioeconomic status, and bonding capacity. This is a Sources Sought notice, not a request for proposals or bids.
