Description
The Toronto Transit Commission seeks an elevating devices consultant to support projects involving elevators, escalators, and related equipment. Services may include feasibility and design work; preparation of reports, drawings, specifications, and construction contract documents; site investigations; permit support; and construction-phase services such as technical responses, submittal reviews, site reviews, and closeout documentation. The consultant will also provide technical support and revisions to TTC design manuals, master specifications, standard drawings, and directive drawings. The work is assigned as needed through work plans and releases, across design and construction-support phases. The solicitation anticipates awarding up to two contracts, each with an upset limit amount to be determined by TTC; the estimated upset limit is up to CAD $400,000 for all anticipated consultant work. The contract term is three years from notification of award. Required proposal materials include the proposal form, corporate and key-staff summary forms, the proposed key consultant staff list, and proof of the required Professional Engineer license.
