Description
The Commonwealth of Kentucky is soliciting construction services to replace nine failing modular air-cooled chillers with two new chillers located in an areaway at the Cabinet for Health and Family Services Oakwood Building 501. The work includes using existing electrical gear with new fuses and conductors, modifying ducts to extend condenser air to grade level, and installing new piping and heat trace from the mechanical room wall to the chillers. Bids must be submitted electronically through the Commonwealth's eProcurement system; emailed, mailed, and hand-delivered bids will not be accepted. The Official Bid Document and Bid Bond, if required, must be combined into one PDF and uploaded. A site visit is scheduled, and a public bid reading will be held by conference call on the bid opening date.
