Description
Santé Québec Est-de-l'Île-de-Montréal – Universitaire intends to enter into a sole-source contract for a new laser dedicated to photodynamic therapy in ophthalmology for the ophthalmology service at Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont. The system must use a semiconductor diode laser operating at 689 nm ±3 nm with a maximum power of 400 mW, support photosensitizing agents such as verteporfin, include treatment guidance and procedure-management software with photosensitizer dose-calculation assistance, and be compatible with ophthalmic slit lamps including Haag-Streit BQ 900 systems. The acquisition must include required slit-lamp adapters, control systems, optical accessories, software, licenses, and other operating components. The equipment and supplier must meet specified Health Canada approvals and certification requirements. The procurement is a one-time equipment acquisition, with seven years of maintenance services and one three-year renewal option. Interested third parties must submit a response form and supporting documentation demonstrating their ability to meet the stated requirements.
