Description
The Burlington Electric Department is soliciting a firm-fixed-price proposal for construction improvements at Dewey Park, including excavation and backfill; installation of underground conduit, conduit sweeps, pull rope, hand holes, CDR boxes, utility holes, and related vaults; concrete encasement where required; testing; erosion protection; traffic control; permitting; and restoration of streets, sidewalks, driveways, grass, and other disturbed surfaces. Contractors may use traditional excavation or directional boring/conduit moling and must provide all required materials unless otherwise noted. The project also includes streetlighting work shown on the project drawings, including new and replacement LED fixtures, photocells, fiberglass poles, wiring, fuses, bus connectors, and associated conduit runs. Proposals must include a company summary, technical approach and construction plan, fixed unit pricing and total project cost, professional experience and references, subcontractor information, additional information, proof of insurance, and required Burlington certifications, including livable wage, outsourcing, and union-deterrence compliance certifications. A mandatory site walkthrough is required before award. The project may begin October 12, 2026, and must be completed by November 20, 2026, at 5:00 PM.
