Description
The Commonwealth of Kentucky is soliciting construction services for the phased replacement of air handlers and condensing equipment across cottages 101, 102, 104, 105, 109, 110, 114, 115, 116, and 118 at Oakwood Facility. The work includes removing existing air handlers; modifying ductwork; installing multiple air handlers, electric duct heaters, gas-fired domestic water heaters, electrical panels, and disconnects; and removing hydronic boilers and indirect domestic hot-water storage tanks. Construction must proceed in phases, with only one cottage available at a time and each cottage unoccupied during its work. The estimated project cost is $1,965,000, and the estimated duration is 658 days to substantial completion plus 30 days to final completion.
