Description
Iowa State University of Science and Technology is soliciting contractors to provide recurring custodial services at the Digital Ag Innovation Lab. The scope includes full-facility cleaning twice weekly, optional partial-cleaning schedules, quarterly baseboard and chair cleaning, annual carpet cleaning using extraction, encapsulation, or another approved industry-standard method, and emergency or additional cleaning services when requested. The contractor must furnish labor, equipment, and materials, maintain janitorial storage areas, monitor consumable-supply inventory, secure the facility after service, report maintenance and safety concerns, minimize disruption, and comply with background-check, safety, confidentiality, and access requirements. The agreement begins December 1, 2026, for an initial one-year term with four additional one-year renewal options. Responses must include required online bid attributes, pricing for weekly, quarterly, and annual services, and a detailed emergency and additional-services pricing attachment. The contractor must provide three references and meet specified insurance requirements, including commercial general liability, automobile liability, workers’ compensation and employer’s liability, and excess/umbrella liability coverage.
