The California Highway Patrol seeks a contractor to provide weekly rental services for protective clothing and operational supplies, including shop jackets, uniform shirts and trousers, lab coats, automotive shop rags, scraper mats, and slip-resistant mats. Services include initial uniform setup and sizing, alterations and name tags and CHP logos, laundering and sanitizing, pickup and delivery, replacement of clean items, resizing, repairs, and periodic inventory inspections. The contractor must provide the specified items and services on an as-needed basis, with no guaranteed minimum quantities. The agreement is anticipated to run from January 1, 2027, through January 31, 2030, subject to approval and possible extension. The award is intended for the responsive and responsible bidder offering the lowest cost. DVBE participation is waived, though bidders may claim an incentive for qualifying DVBE participation.
