Description
Kern County is seeking one new and unused Freightliner Model M2 106 conventional-cab water truck, or an equivalent vehicle. The truck must have a 6x4 drivetrain, 66,000-pound minimum gross vehicle weight rating, specified engine and transmission capabilities, and extensive chassis equipment including air conditioning, heated mirrors, emergency equipment, backup camera, and related safety features. The vehicle must include a 4,000-gallon, 15-foot steel non-potable water tank; a PTO-driven pumping system rated at 750 gallons per minute at 65 psi; front, rear, and side spray equipment; a top-mounted monitor; hose reel; controls; manuals; warranty support; and applicable vehicle registration documentation. The vendor must complete the quotation request and vehicle specifications, provide pricing and delivery information, and demonstrate the equipment's functions upon delivery.
