Description
The U.S. Geological Survey requires a maintenance service contract for a SeqStudio Flex 24-capillary Genetic Analyzer. The contractor must provide yearly preventative maintenance, technical support, repairs, and the labor, parts, reagents, and travel necessary to maintain the instrument. The existing requirements also include phone support during business hours, on-site visits within 3–5 business days, and installation of software, firmware, and hardware updates by an Applied BioSystems-certified service engineer using manufacturer-approved parts and reagents. The contract has a one-year base period and two one-year option periods, running from October 4, 2026, through October 3, 2029. The amendment dissolves the total small-business set-aside, making the solicitation open to both small and large businesses.
