Description
Opportunity Home San Antonio is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive mowing and grounds maintenance services for its affordable housing communities. The scope includes routine mowing, edging, trimming, litter and debris removal, weed and fungicide control, shrub and ground-cover maintenance, mulch installation, seasonal color, winter rye installation, and maintenance of turf, flower beds, hardscaped areas, drainage easements, and retention ponds. The contractor must also provide property-specific grounds assessments and service plans, tree inspections and treatment by a licensed arborist, tree pruning and maintenance, plant and shrub recommendations, monthly and annual service schedules, and additional landscaping services on an as-needed unit-price basis. Bidders must submit pricing by property and for additional services, required bid forms and certifications, company and client information, subcontractor information, small and local business utilization information, licenses, and insurance documentation. The contract is a firm-fixed contract for one year, with an option to extend at Opportunity Home's discretion.
