Description
Opportunity Home San Antonio and its affiliated entities are seeking qualified legal firms to augment in-house counsel with as-needed, non-litigation legal services. Areas may include labor and employment, personnel investigations, construction law, real estate and affordable housing development, asset management, public and housing law, procurement, regulatory matters, board counsel, dispute resolution, and related legal advice. Litigation services are excluded. Respondents may propose one or more areas of expertise and must provide qualified Texas-licensed attorneys and support staff. The solicitation requires firm qualifications and experience, proposed staff qualifications and resumes, a quality assurance plan, pricing and billing policies, firm and subcontractor information, HUD and Texas compliance forms, a small and local vendor utilization statement, a proposal checklist and certification, and litigation-notification documentation. The initial term is one year, with up to four additional one-year extensions at the authority's discretion.
