Description
Polk County seeks a contractor to construct an approximately 10-acre pumped wetland system consisting of two pools. Work includes excavation and grading, embankments, wetland and deep-pool outlets, a pump station with four submersible pumps, electrical service and controls, piping and water-control structures, erosion controls, seeding, and site restoration. The bid schedule includes quantities for these construction items, and the project plans and specifications provide detailed requirements. The project has two completion milestones: associated work in one area is due by April 30, 2027, and the remaining work by September 30, 2027. A 5% bid security is required with the bid; performance, payment, and maintenance bonds are required after award. The engineer’s estimate is $1,288,194.00.
