Description
The City seeks a qualified, licensed, and insured contractor to complete beach park and adjacent roadway improvements. Work includes demolition of existing pavement, sidewalks, pavilions, boardwalks, landscaping, furnishings, and signage; construction of six new pavilions, a boardwalk, concrete and paver parking areas, sidewalks, curbs, and ramps; and installation of drainage infrastructure, outdoor showers, signs, furnishings, landscaping, and an automatic irrigation system. The project also includes dune grading and vegetation restoration, geocell beach-access stabilization, and an alternate to replace decking on an existing dune walkover with composite decking. Bidders must attend the mandatory pre-bid meeting. The bid package requires the specified contact sheet and pricing form, Exhibits A-K, and proof that the contractor is not listed in the federal suspension and debarment system. The selected contractor must begin work within seven days after the Notice to Proceed, with substantial completion within 90 days and final completion within 120 days. Insurance and bid, payment, and performance bond requirements apply as specified in the bid documents.
