Description
The project involves replacing approximately 2,250 square yards of seven-inch PCC street pavement, 750 linear feet of storm sewer, 700 linear feet of water main, and 60 linear feet of sanitary sewer along SW Westlawn Drive. Work also includes storm sewer structures, subdrain, sanitary sewer structure adjustments, excavation, subgrade preparation, modified subbase, and replacement of streets, driveways, and sidewalks. Temporary water main and sidewalk, traffic control, erosion control, and temporary and permanent surface restoration are also included. The contractor must substantially complete the work within 100 working days and fully complete it within 10 working days after receiving the punch list. The posting describes a $25,000 payment enhancement for achieving substantial completion within 100 working days and completing the work by August 20, 2027. Hazardous gas facility abatement will be performed by MidAmerican Energy Company or its abatement contractor; the contractor may be asked to submit a separate proposal for related excavation or other assistance.
