Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking capability information from qualified sources able to supply 28 custom surgical and procedure pack types for the Pittsburgh VA Medical Center. The packs include anesthesia, angiography, arthroscopy, biopsy and drainage, cardiac, cystoscopy, eye, orthopedic, spine, vascular, dialysis, transcatheter aortic valve replacement, personal care, and other procedure-specific configurations. Estimated annual usage ranges from 21 to 750 cases for individual pack types, with additional listed requirements for anesthesia circuits, intubation equipment, intravenous-start kits, intravenous-supplies drawers, and related kits. Suppliers must be able to provide sterile, traceable packs with lot numbers for each pack and component, FDA-registered manufacturing facilities, sterility and quality assurance, recall accountability, approved substitutions, packaging and labeling, electronic weekly inventory reports, and delivery within 48 hours or as required by individual delivery orders. Responses must identify the company, capabilities, manufacturers and part numbers, business classification, applicable government contract vehicles, and whether the respondent is a manufacturer, distributor, authorized reseller, or provider of an equivalent solution.
