Description
The North Carolina Department of Adult Correction is soliciting bids for an agency-specific, as-needed term contract to furnish and deliver corrugated cardboard cartons for packaging and distribution. The solicitation identifies five carton specifications with brown kraft construction, C-flute/EC32 glue-joint construction, regular slotted containers scored for easy setup, 200 PSI bursting strength, capacity for 65 pounds of packaged goods, black-ink size markings, and two units per pallet. Estimated quantities range from 8,000 to 160,000 cartons by item, with no guaranteed minimum or maximum purchases. The contract has an initial three-year term beginning on final contract execution or February 1, 2027, whichever is later. Vendors must provide samples, manufacturer authorization, the manufacturer's standard warranty, at least three customer references for the exact model offered, pricing, sustainability information, and the required certifications and forms.
