Description
Carteret County Government is soliciting proposals for a complete chemical treatment and water-quality maintenance program for HVAC systems at the Courthouse/Jail Complex, Old Administration Facility, and County Detention Center. The contractor must provide all labor, supervision, chemicals, materials, equipment, testing, inspections, treatment adjustments, documentation, and related services needed to protect cooling towers and closed-loop hot- and chilled-water systems from corrosion, scale, biological growth, fouling, and other water-related conditions. The scope includes an initial system evaluation; monthly Courthouse cooling-tower service; quarterly service for designated closed-loop systems; water sampling and testing; inspection of pumps, controllers, pot feeders, and chemical-feed equipment; treatment-chemical furnishing and handling; written service reports; and emergency or additional services such as tower cleaning, chemical cleaning, flushing, biological treatment, equipment repair, and system remediation. Proposers must demonstrate relevant commercial or institutional experience, qualified personnel, adequate staffing and equipment, response capability, and at least three similar-work references. The initial term runs from contract execution through June 30, 2027, with five optional one-year renewals. The proposal package must include a single-sided PDF, detailed pricing, the completed bid sheet, proposed treatment plan, required certifications and affidavits, and applicable supporting materials.
