Pitt County Government is soliciting lump-sum bids from pre-qualified general contractors for construction of a new 82,740-square-foot, two-story administration building at the Pitt County Office Park in Greenville, North Carolina. The single-prime general construction scope includes sitework, structural steel, masonry, roofing, exterior wall systems, doors and windows, interior finishes, plumbing, HVAC, electrical systems, fire protection, fire alarm and BDA systems, a generator, elevators, commissioning, and related work. The project includes a 540-consecutive-calendar-day contract duration, a 5 percent bid security requirement, and performance and payment bonds each equal to 100 percent of the contract price. Bidders must complete the provided bid form, including the lump-sum base bid, alternates, unit prices, allowances, subcontractor information, bid security, certifications, and signatures. The project also includes a Corbin-Russwin door-hardware preferred alternate and requires compliance with North Carolina licensing and E-Verify requirements.
