Description
The City of Greenville is soliciting janitorial services for the Greenville Aquatics & Fitness Center and Greenville Aquatics Outdoor Center. The contractor must provide all labor, cleaning supplies, rags, and equipment necessary for litter removal, trash and recycling handling, floor and carpet care, dusting, glass cleaning, restroom and shower sanitation, disinfection, restocking, kitchen and break-room cleaning, and maintenance of janitor closets. Services include daily, weekly, and monthly tasks, with work scheduled seven days per week at the Fitness Center and Monday and Friday nights at the Outdoor Center. The contractor must maintain facility security, set alarms, provide supervision, submit monthly maintenance plans, furnish safety data sheets, and comply with applicable laws and safety requirements. The contract is expected to run from approximately November 30, 2026, through November 30, 2027, with up to two additional one-year extensions by written agreement. The bid package requires a completed bid sheet, contractor reference information for three similar projects, contractor data and performance-plan information, and the required North Carolina E-Verify affidavit. A certificate of insurance is required before work begins, rather than with the bid submission.
