Description
The City of Greenville is seeking a contractor to provide janitorial services at the Greenville Aquatics & Fitness Center and Greenville Aquatics Outdoor Center. The scope includes daily, weekly, and monthly litter removal, trash and recycling service, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, restroom and shower cleaning, disinfection, glass and mirror cleaning, kitchen and break-room cleaning, floor care, furniture cleaning, baseboard and air-grill cleaning, and facility security checks. The contractor must furnish all labor, cleaning supplies, rags, and equipment, while the City will provide specified consumable materials. The contractor must provide a written monthly maintenance plan, supervisor contact information, three similar client references, contractor information, pricing by facility, and the required bid forms and affidavit. The contract is expected to begin November 30, 2026, for an approximately one-year term, with up to two additional annual extensions by written agreement. Subcontracting is prohibited without prior written City authorization. Workers’ compensation, public liability, property damage, and statutory motor vehicle insurance are required, with a certificate naming the City as an additional insured before work begins.
