Description
Greenville Utilities Commission is soliciting sealed bids for approximately 110 galvanized tubular steel transmission structures, including single-pole and H-frame structures for structure numbers 86–198. The scope includes design, engineering calculations, materials, welding, inspection, protective coatings, anchor bolts, base plates, arms, brackets, hardware, markings, drawings, testing, and delivery. Structures must comply with the stated ASCE, ASTM, ACI, AWS, ANSI, and SSPC/NACE standards, with designs and final documentation subject to owner approval. Bidders must submit pricing on the attached Proposal Form, identify delivery time and manufacturers, state any exceptions, and provide the requested design information and weights. The bid package requires bid security equal to at least 5% of the total bid, either as cash, cashier’s or certified check, or a bid bond. The solicitation states that only the attached proposal materials, bid security, cost form, exception form, and E-Verify form(s) should be returned; two hard copies and one electronic copy are required.
