Description
Craven-Pamlico Regional Public Library is soliciting proposals for direct Internet access and data transmission services at four locations during Funding Year 2027–28: Havelock Public Library, Vanceboro Public Library, Cove City Public Library, and New Bern Public Library. Requested bandwidth is 100 Mbps to 1 Gbps per location, with a static IP address required at each site. Service is scheduled to begin July 1, 2027, at Havelock and Vanceboro, and August 1, 2027, at Cove City and New Bern. Proposals must include installation and initial configuration, outage reporting and basic technical support at no additional service fee, a service-level agreement, and identification of any required construction, permits, or easements with an implementation timeline. Pricing must include recurring and non-recurring costs, taxes, and fees, with ineligible E-Rate charges separately identified. The library will consider three- and five-year contract options, each with three optional one-year extensions, and may add or remove sites through contract amendments. Only Service Provider Invoice invoicing will be accepted, and implementation is contingent on E-Rate funding. Multiple providers may be considered, although priority will be given to a sole provider.
