Description
Vincennes University is soliciting sealed bids for Contract #1, Mechanical Construction, involving HVAC equipment installation for its Technology Building. Bids must be submitted in duplicate using the provided bid forms and must include the Certification of Non-Segregated Facilities, Indiana State Board of Accounts Form 96 (revised 2013), a completed AIA Form G705 stating “none” if there are no subcontractors, acknowledgment of all addenda, and a satisfactory bid bond of at least 5% of the total bid price. The awarded contractor must provide a performance bond and a labor and material payment bond, each generally in an amount equal to at least 110% of the contract price, subject to the stated legal requirements. Plans and specifications are available through MACO-Evansville Blue and the university’s online plan room; registered account holders may download digital files for a fee, and prime bidders may obtain complete sets subject to a refundable deposit and shipping charge.
