Description
Henderson County Schools is planning a comprehensive facility improvement program to address aging school buildings, with an average age of 45.3 years. The district has identified critical construction needs, including the replacement of Jefferson Elementary School (estimated cost $16.4M) and renovations at Spottsville Elementary due to water issues. Future needs include upgrades to multiple elementary and middle schools, Central Academy, and career and technical education facilities. The total estimated funding required is $115.8M.
